Joanne Kyger
Joanne Kyger's poems are
selected from a current work,
NOT VERACRUZ, which she
calls "a Day Book for lack of a
better way to address what I
think of as a daily practice of
brush stroke immediacy." She is
a resident of Bolinas, California
and sometimes teacher at Naropa
Institute in Boulder, Colorado.
As Ever: Selected Poems
(Penguin, 2002) edited by Michael Rothenberg, with an introduction by David Meltzer, is the largest
collection of her poetry. About Now: Collected Poems is forthcoming from the National Poetry Foundation.
